Surrendering a Pet

We understand that unexpected life changes can cause hardship in life. We are here to help.

If you’re in need of assistance with caring for your pet we have a Pet Food Pantry program that provides food for your pet. We also offer low cost vaccines weekly. If you are interested in these programs please contact our facility.

If your pet is having behavior issues(new accidents in the house, nipping, anxiousness), consider taking them to the vet to rule out any underlying medical issues. If the behaviors are not medically related, consider contacting a behaviorist or trainer. On our Tip & Resources page there is contact information for local resources should you need them.

At this time we are only taking surrenders from within Marshall County. Please contact your local shelter for resources.

YOU MUST CALL OUR FACILITY BEFORE BRINGING YOUR PET FOR SURRENDER.

When you surrender your pet to us we will ask you some basic questions regarding the animal and the situation that requires you to bring your pet to us. The more complete and honest information you can provide, the better the chance we have of finding the pet a new and loving home. Copies of records from your veterinarian are also very helpful to us.
