Adoption Fees
Adoptions:
- Dogs: $125.00
- Cats: $25 for adult cats that have been spayed or neutered. $85 for kittens and cats that have not been spayed or neutered.
- Other: starting at $20.00 depending on type of domestic animal.
We occasionally get in rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and other such domesticated
pets.
Fees include:
- Dogs: Distemper combination vaccination and Bordetella vaccination, microchip identification insertion and registration and spay/neuter
- Puppies: Distemper combination vaccination and Bordetella vaccination, microchip identification insertion and registration and $50.00 spay or neuter certificate
- Cats: Distemper combination vaccination and Bordetella vaccination, microchip identification insertion and registration and spay/neuter
- Kittens: Distemper combination vaccination and Bordetella vaccination, microchip identification insertion and registration and a $40.00 spay or neuter certificate
We ask that all animals adopted out of the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown visit a veterinarian of your choice within 10 days of adoption for a Rabies vaccination and wellness examination. If any problems are discovered through the wellness exam we ask that you return the pet to us within 3 days of the exam.
